About
This blog is a result of poking and playing around with blogs, RSS, podcasting and other toys for the past year. I finally have a handle on it and I am excited to start sharing it with the faculty where I work. I’m going to use this site as a demo of best practices, testbed and more.
Where I’ve been….
- Pellissippi State Technical Community College, Instructional Technology Specialist, 1999 – present
- American Museum of Science and Energy, Education Coordinator, 1990 – 1999
- Alvin C. York Agricultural Institute, Classroom Teacher (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics), 1986 -1988
If you are wondering? Techy-feely? Huh? Well, with a psychologist mother and an electrical engineering father – I have the best of both worlds and consider myself a techy-feely kinda gal. I think that reflects in my approach to life and teaching.
